I have always drawn with pencil and paper. Preferably just your standard grey HB pencil and wanted nothing to do with color because you can’t fix mistakes in color that easily. 

When I revived my love for traditional art I started experimenting with paint markers. For me this works almost the same as working with a pencil and I have more control over what I’m doing than with a brush.
